Ökumenischer Gottesdienst am Beginn der Vorlesungszeit  | Ecumenical worship service at the beginning of the lecture period | Nabożeństwo ekumeniczne na początek roku akademickiego

In diesem Gottesdienst begrüßten und segneten wir René Pachmann, den neuen katholischen Hochschulseelsorger, für seinen Dienst an der Viadrina. In seiner Predigt sagte er: "Gott finden wir in der Tiefe – nicht nur außerhalb unserer selbst, in der Bibel oder in liturgischen Praktiken, sondern wir finden ihn und seine Stimme vor allem in uns. Oftmals in Verbindung miteinander – wenn ich ein altes Kirchenlied singe oder ein Bibelwort höre, kann es sein, dass etwas in mir in Schwingung kommt und ich berührt bin an einem Zipfel meiner Sehnsucht. Und dann kann ich meine Sehnsucht erspüren und ganz in Kontakt kommen mit mir selbst."

In this service we welcomed and blessed René Pachmann, the new Catholic university chaplain, for his ministry at Viadrina. In his sermon he said: "We find God in the depths - not only outside ourselves, in the Bible or in liturgical practices, but we find him and his voice above all in us. Often in connection with each other - when I sing an old hymn or hear a Bible word, it may be that something in me begins to vibrate and I am touched at a corner of my longing. And then I can feel my longing and get completely in touch with myself."

Podczas tego nabożeństwa powitaliśmy i pobłogosławiliśmy René Pachmanna, nowego katolickiego kapelana uniwersyteckiego, który będzie pełnił swoją posługę na Viadrinie. W swoim kazaniu powiedział: "Znajdujemy Boga w głębi - nie tylko poza sobą, w Biblii czy w praktykach liturgicznych, ale znajdujemy Go i Jego głos przede wszystkim w nas. Często w połączeniu ze sobą - kiedy śpiewam stary hymn lub słyszę słowo biblijne, może się zdarzyć, że coś we mnie zaczyna wibrować i zostaję dotknięty w jakimś zakątku mojej tęsknoty. I wtedy mogę poczuć swoją tęsknotę i całkowicie wejść w kontakt ze sobą."
